The Director of Quality will lead and oversee all quality assurance and control functions at the company, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of durability, reliability, and compliance. This role requires expertise in quality management systems, process improvement, and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance for plastic molding processes and industrial manufacturing.

A Day In The Life…
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with company’s business and manufacturing goals.
- Establish and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer expectations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality processes throughout product development and manufacturing.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to industry certifications and best practices.
- Implement and manage supplier quality programs to maintain high standards in raw materials and components.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and drive quality improvements.
- Train and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Skills You'll Need To Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or high-growth environment.
- Must have ISO9001 certification experience in addition to managing an ISO9001 program.
- Must have multi-site management experience.
- Must have manufacturing experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Experience in quality assurance for vacuum, rotational, and injection molding processes.
- Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in quality management software and ERP systems.
- Preferred: Automotive/Aerospace exp.

Base Salary: 170k – 200k DOE
