What We're Looking For:
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering the financial integrity and operational success of our organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, which supports strategic decision-making and drives the overall growth and profitability of the company. You will lead and manage the accounting operations, oversee the preparation of financial statements, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. Your expertise will directly influence our financial strategies, budget management, and stakeholder confidence, making you an integral part of our team.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.
• Ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately and discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Develop, implement, and monitor adherence to internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity and optimal working capital management.
• Lead the preparation for external and internal audits, ensuring all financial documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all accounting procedures are in line with company policies and legal standards, driving the achievement of financial objectives.
• Continuously monitor financial data for accuracy and integrity, identifying trends and anomalies to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets, providing ongoing financial oversight and reporting.
• Provide actionable financial recommendations to senior management and key business stakeholders to support the company’s strategic goals.
What You Must Have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial statement preparation, reporting, and analysis.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
