HR Generalist -HRG

As an HR Generalist, you'll be the heartbeat of our organization, connecting with employees and supporting their Human Resources needs. We deliver nutritious food to those in need through partners and direct programs. Our diverse team works together to fight food insecurity, engage the community, and support helpful policies. A Day In The Life:

  • Lead and implement HR functions like recruitment, employee relations, training, payroll administration, and benefits management. Be the driving force behind our HR operations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, addressing concerns and ensuring fair treatment and compliance with labor laws.
  • Spearhead HR projects and initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and success.
  • Ensure we stay on top of all employment laws, regulations, and internal policies through audits, training, and policy development.
  • Systems Wizard: Manage and optimize our HR systems and processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Training & Development Guru: Create and deliver training programs that elevate employee skills and knowledge, keeping our team at the forefront of legal compliance, safety, and HR best practices.

 

What You Bring:

  • Bilingual Spanish a must
  • Your knowledge of CA employment and wage & hour laws makes you the go-to guru.
  • You use your creativity and sharp analytical skills to tackle challenges and think outside the box.
  • Team player & independent dynamo
  • Juggle complex projects with ease and adapt to whatever comes your way.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Fluent in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and HRIS systems like Paychex and ADP.
  • Navigate employee relations with a consultative and ethical approach.
  • Meticulous in managing tasks, adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Handle sensitive information with tact and confidentiality.
  • Efficiently manage projects, keeping them on track and achieving goals.
  • PHR Certification: It's a bonus, not a requirement—but definitely a plus.
