What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Director of Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying business opportunities, developing strategies to acquire clients in the warehouse division within contract logistics to include: distribution, transload, order fulfillment and reverse logistics The SR Director of Business Development will be responsible for directing and coordinating department activities to further the attainment of goals and objectives, reviewing analyses of activities and forecast data, and consulting at the executive level to assess achievements and make necessary changes.
This is a remote position and can reside anywhere in US

A Day In The Life:
• Orchestrate and oversee the activities of departments or designated locations to drive the achievement of goals and objectives, with a particular focus on daily operations concerning services provided to the account base and potential business.
• Strategically propel revenue generation, expand market share, and enhance margins in alignment with the business plan, while spearheading business development endeavors
• Oversee the entire consultative sales process, orchestrating it from inception to completion, which involves crafting tailored presentations and proposals.
• Participate in direct calls on new and/or existing customers and representing the company at industry meetings to promote products/services.
• Develop business forecasts, financial budgets, and targets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to evaluate the progress of departments or divisions toward predefined goals and objectives.
• Collaborate at the executive level to evaluate accomplishments and identify necessary adaptations based on current circumstances and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations across all divisional activities and operations.

What You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • 7+ years' experience selling within the warehouse and logistics industries.
  • Contract negotiations 5M+
  • Forecasting & Financial budgeting.
  • Possess a strong product/service development background and logistics experience.
  • Ability to travel throughout US.
