Senior Human Resources Manager -SR HRM

OVERVIEW

Global Food Manufacturer seeks a Senior HR Manager to join their expanding team.
In this role , the SR HRM will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization, maintaining an effective level of business literacy about the business, its culture and its competition. You will be an employee champion, leading and directing the functions of the local human resources department including compliance, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, performance management, affirmative action, and enforcing company policies and practices.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Generate metrics to drive workforce decisions, forecasting capabilities and strategic insights.
• Develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals as well as fill pipelines to account for possible turnover.
• Develop meaningful and actionable workforce plans to proactively identify issues in the areas of turnover, diversity, absenteeism, and performance management.
• Oversee the administration of compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Collaborate with leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
• Responsible for employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and recommend appropriate corrective actions in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as company policy.
• Oversee the development and execution of plant’s Affirmative Action plan..
• Ensure all policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with federal and state laws.
• Oversee development of careers within the plant and the HR team by identifying training needs for the plant, function, and individual performance development.
• Manage annual talent planning and performance management process within the plant.
• Administer compensation and other reward strategies, systems, and processes to attract, motivate and retain organizational talent.
• Analyzes and reports on any specific plant or geographic variances to assure best local practices and market competitiveness.
• Build and implement strategy for hiring and placement of candidates across sourcing channels, including setting goals and timelines, and analyzing metrics.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5-7 years Human Resources of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree (B.A) in Human Resources, Business   Management, or related degree
• PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Bi-lingual English / Spanish required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce a plus
• Strong project management experience
• Strong knowledge of California employment and labor law
• Attention to detail to deliver strong service to internal and external customers.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Base Salary: 110K-130K
  • Annual Bonus : Up to 50% of base salary
