Manufacturing Plant Manager

Global leader and industry innovator in advanced embedded computing solutions seeks a Manufacturing Plant Manager to join their team. In this role, you will lead a team of Managers and their teams while striving for improving and managing the successful execution and the profitable performances of our core processes. We are looking for an innovative, driven and passionate professional to join our team and contribute to continuously building a great culture within our organization. Relocation will be provided.
What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with the planning function to arrive at realistic and achievable production schedules geared towards meeting customer commitment
  • Develop implement activities in production area to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives
  • Collaborate closely with material department (Director / Purchasing Manager) as needed to ensure material availability
  • Make budgetary recommendations on equipment and direct/indirect labor
  • Solicit feedback from direct reports on management style and techniques.
  • Hold direct reports to company behavioral values, policies and standards.
  • Provide input to position descriptions, recruitment, selection, training and retaining as it pertains to your team
  • Conduct improvement opportunity analyses.
  • Provide continuous and timely communication to ensure alignment of goals and objective throughout all levels of the organization
  • Ongoing development and fine-tuning of Operating Principles, Processes, Tools and Measures of Success 
What You Need: 
  • 5 plus years supervising and managing teams
  • BA/BS in mechanical or electrical engineering or minimum 5-7 years of experience involving metal fabrication and assembly of mechanical/electromechanical and PCBA products
  • Knowledge and experience related to ISO9001/AS9100 Standards
  • Knowledge of box builds, PCB assemblies, Cable assemblies and conversant in IPC and J STDS
  • Work in a high-pressure mixed model flow in a high mix low volume environment
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials for complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies
  • Experienced on Microsoft based D365 ERP system/AXAPTA 12 or equivalent ie SAP
  • Hands-on analytical approach and style that encourages change and creative problem solving

What We Offer: 
  • Base Salary: 130k-160k (possibly higher depending on experience)
