Senior Learning & Development Strategist

Overview
Expanding global essential manufacturer is seeking a Senior Learning & Development Strategist to lead and develop a team of L&D partners within the organization, setting  and implementing the Learning & Development strategy and roadmap to drive the continuous learning mindset throughout the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Architect an overarching learning and development strategy
  • Refine the internal communications strategy and roadmap for scalability and impact
  • Identify L&D success metrics to track
  • Serves as creative thought partner for the business
  • Partner closely with the heads of Talent Acquisition, People Operations and Total Rewards to ideate and execute on People Strategy initiatives
  • Coach and mentor team members for success in their positions and provides opportunities for team members to learn and grow in
  • Designs, directs the delivery of, and continually iterates on a Leadership Development program for Operations that establishes as the employer of choice for current and future operational leaders
  • Designs and coordinates targeted Leadership Development experiences for Corporate, Sales and Retail populations
  • Test and implement creative ways to collaborate, learn, provide recognition, survey and engage our diverse employee populations 
 Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 8 plus years of experience creating and implementing scalable and value-added learning solutions to a growing and changing workforce
  • Experience transitioning an organization from traditional to transformational learning practices and expectations
  • Experience in building a learning environment within a multi generational workforce
  • Experience leading/driving internal communication efforts for a growing organization
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing a team of L&D professionals
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or CPG environment
  • Highly creative, non-academic, pragmatic approach to learning
