Training & Development Manager

Expanding essential business seeks a Training & Development Manager to join their team!.In this role you will be responsible for leading ,developing  and strategizing  a team of partners in various locations, this position sets and implements the Learning & Development strategy and roadmap to drive the following outcomes:

  • A diverse pipeline of capable leaders and individuals who can fill future roles
  • Employees who initiate and lead their own development and managers who actively support and enable the development of their employees
  • Employees across the organization (Operations, Sales, Corporate and Retail) who are skilled, empowered and engaged
  • Establishes Leadership Development philosophy and roadmap
  • Refines the internal communications strategy and roadmap for scalability and impact
  • Identifies L&D success metrics to track
  • Analyzes data to continually improve the learning experience of employees
  • Meets with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the learning and communication needs of employees
  • Serves as creative thought partner for the business to ideate on learning solutions
  • Coaches and mentors team members for success in their positions and provides opportunities for team members to learn and grow in their roles
  • Provides ongoing performance feedback
  • Directs work and delegates assignments to team members based on the learning needs of the business
  • Designs, directs the delivery of, and continually iterates on a Leadership Development program for Operations 
  • Designs and coordinates targeted Leadership Development experiences for Corporate, and Retail population
  • Oversees and elevates the role of Internal Communications within the company
  • Ideates, tests and implements new ways to collaborate, learn, provide recognition, survey and engage our diverse employee populations
Experience You Bring:
  • 5 or more years of experience creating and implementing scalable and value-added learning solutions to a growing and changing workforce within the grocery retail or restaurant industries
  • Experience transitioning an organization from traditional to transformational learning practices and expectations
  • Experience leading/driving internal communication efforts for a growing organization
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing a team of L&D professionals
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or CPG environment
  • Highly creative, non-academic, pragmatic approach to learning
  • Exposure to modern internal communications practices
  • Executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships across the business
  • Clear and concise verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for helping people learn and grow with a highly curious and collaborative mindset
  • Strong mentoring/coaching skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Base salary: 90k-100k
