In this role, you will oversee the Digital, content marketing & social media strategy; Public Relations; brand management; customer experience; promotion & advertising; communications; and fundraising.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies and tactics that will based organization goals and performance metrics across all communications channels.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for key marketing initiatives, update weekly & monthly trackers, and provide periodic reports to the marketing department, senior management and board presentations.
  • Assist in leading cross-functional marketing initiatives and brand partnerships across National, regional and local teams.
  • Coordinate with internal IT Department and Creative & Production in maintaining organizational websites & digital assets.
  • Collaborates with sponsors, business partners, national staff, volunteers and other organizations, developing and maintaining effective business relationships, to create programs which meet the needs and interests of our members and volunteers.
  • Develop and analyze assessment/data collection methods and tools (such as surveys, questionnaires, interviews, and group discussions) to obtain relevant feedback from the membership and evaluate Expo Marketing curriculum, and volunteer participation in programs for continuing and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Drive media engagement, including fielding and/or direct responses to media-related inquiries.
  • Assist with advertising and promotions to include, but not limited to print, digital, television, out-of-home, trade shows and events.
  • Assist in the management relationships with media, vendor, sponsors and outside agencies with others within the Marketing Department and with other departments’ vendors.
  • Create Content Marketing strategy and execution to include, but not limited to national websites, eNewsletters, blogs, publications, apps and social media.
  • Develop and drive annual themes for organization meetings and events as well as executing promotional materials that reflect the themes.
  • Manage brand identity and consumer research. Make changes to strategies based on results and findings.
  • Collaborate with writers and designers to oversee copywriting, design, and production of promotional materials, advertising and organizational collateral.
  • Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent experience. Master’s (MA) highly desirable
  • At least 5 years related and progressively responsible experience and/or training in sports, entertainment and/or consumer marketing, program development, or project/organization and management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
