HRIS Manager

What We Are Looking For:
Expanding retailer in the apparel, footwear and accessories space seeks dynamic HRIS Manager to manage and maintain overall integrity of company's HR-related systems including: Workforce Management, Benefits, Performance Management, Compensation, Recruiting, On-Boarding, and Document Management. You'll also be responsible for the maintenance of the organizational structure, process enhancements, testing of system changes, HRIS analytics and HR Metrics and reporting.

What We Need (Done):
  • Generate reports and extract data from various systems (JDE World and Kronos Timekeeping), utilizing reporting software. (JDE World Writer, Kronos Hyperfinds/Reports, or Hubble/Insight Software).
  • Prepare HR system metrics and reports for Management, Internal, IT, and external auditors, Legal department and Executives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual or ad hoc basis. This includes Headcount, Wage Differentials and Averages, SOX Compliance audits and Time-and-Pay history reports for Legal.
  • Manage and create HRIS reports (in JDE or Hubble) for HR, Payroll, Benefits and LMS users and schedule these as needed. Train employees to run and filter and filter reports to meet their needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports due to changes in data or underlying system programming.
  • Provide first-level support to HR and Payroll by troubleshooting system issues and logging IT service tickets where appropriate. Includes data issues, such as New Hire, Promotion or Termination data not feeding to JDE, Kronos or CornerStone.
  • Coordinate with IT department to resolve technical issues in the system, and support HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as needed. Includes interacting with Oracle Support to obtain the most current JDE World Year-End Payroll and ACA Process Guides.
  • Provide specialized assistance with files, file formats and integrity of data from HRIS/Payroll system. This includes regular (Quarterly, semiannual) review of System Access and working with IT Security Administrator to update Users’ access appropriately.
  • Support compliance processes and procedures such as Paid Sick Leave, Minimum Wage, Tax and Benefit Plan setup. Includes working with HR and IT reprocess Sick Pay Accruals in JDE, mass-update hourly rates, if necessary. Also, set up and maintain Pay/Deduction/Benefit/Accrual codes and tables to implement and support State, Federal or Union regulations.
  • Use analytical tools in advanced Excel or Access to analyze data, note trends and reach logical conclusions. Includes running Benefit Eligibility and Enrollment reports for Open Enrollment and ACA Reporting.
  • Support testing during software migration and upgrades. Includes Kronos, ADP Recruitment Management.
What You'll Need To Bring With You (To The Job):
  • Proven proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables) or Access, and Microsoft Word.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards, PeopleSoft or Oracle.
  • Established HR/Payroll process knowledge.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with emphasis on accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
  • Ability to write and speak clearly, and ease in communicating complex ideas. 
  • Must possess an analytical mindset.
