What We’re Looking For:
Global Third Party Logistics Company seeks an HR Generalist to join their expanding team!  In this role, you will be responsible for assisting senior staff with:  payroll processing, recruiting and on-boarding of new hires, benefits administration, leave administration, workers compensation, HRIS updates, recruiting and general clerical tasks. We are seeking someone who is seeking to grow quickly in his or her career.

What We Need (Job You’ll Do):
  • Have a solid understanding on leave of absence administration including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL, STD and ADA
  • Process semi-monthly payroll with minimal guidance and runs payroll related reports
  • Responsible for benefits administration including enrollments, changes, open enrollment and reconciliation of monthly billing statements. Benefits include Health Insurance, STD, LTD, Life, FSA, supplemental insurance, and 401(k)
  • Handles online 
  • On-boarding to including new hire orientation, new-hire paperwork processing, benefits, etc.
  • Maintains and updates the HRIS system, including processing daily HR transactions including address changes, status change forms, employee inquiries, etc.
  • Assists with recruitment process, posting jobs, processing candidates through the recruit flow, working with outside recruiting agencies. 
  • Handles requests from outside parties, including UI, WC, garnishments, employment verification, etc.
What You’ll Need (to be successful in this role):
  • BA degree required.
  • HR Certificate, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years HR experience with experience in a Generalist role. 
  • Knowledge of general Employment laws and regulations. 
  • Solid multi-state payroll knowledge and experience with integrated web-based payroll system  (i.e., Paylocity, ADP, Ceridian)
  • HRIS and Payroll processing skills. 
  • Proficient computer skills especially with MS Office applications.
