What We’re Looking For:
Global Manufacturer specialist in the aerospace industry which designs, manufacturers and services over 300 customers in 30 countries seeks a Benefits Administrator to join their expanding team. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for the administration and delivery of a suite of integrated and comprehensive programs to improve the health and well-being of employees. You will facilitate employee engagement initiatives, vendor interface and reporting, and continuous quality improvement.
What We Need (Done):

Management of benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, COBRA, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Wellness Program and 401(K), etc.
Development and implementation of communications programs; review, redesign and update of summary plan descriptions, highlights, notices, and team member communications.
Management of the open enrollment process, which includes data analysis in preparation for recommending changes, creating communication materials for employees, planning the employee events.
Performs audits on effectiveness of benefit programs on a regular basis and makes recommendations.
Coordination of key health and wellness initiatives/projects as they are developed (i.e. health fairs and screenings, fitness classes, gym memberships, special events, etc.),
Partnering with third party benefits administrator on compliance reporting.
Maintaining of benefit and employee data in the payroll/human resources systems or other databases to include employee benefit plan eligibility, enrollment, and COBRA compliance notifications.
Conducting of bi-weekly benefit audits for all plans to ensure data integrity aligns with payroll.
Generation of weekly and bi-weekly demographic reports to third party benefits administrator and applicable benefit plan provider(s)
Possession of a working knowledge of HRIS and Health Benefits systems, process, and techniques.
What You’ll Need (to be successful in this role):

Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration or related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
5+ years’ experience administering benefits plans
Strong knowledge of benefit laws and regulations including ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and ACA
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification is highly desirable
Excellent Excel skills; proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
Project management skills and analytical skills
Knowledgeable in HRIS systems and report writing, Ceridian knowledge helpful
Working knowledge of benefit plan policies and practices
