OVERVIEW
Expanding global OEM manufacturer for the commercial and government industries seeks top talent to join their growing team in their Commercial Division. Working remotely you will be responsible for acquiring new business, maintaining and up selling existing accounts and maximizing revenue and profits within an assigned territory.  The territory consists of: Houston, San Antonio, LA, So Texas, So Waco, Austin, Lake Charles, and Baton Rouge.


 
RESPONSIBILITES
• Sell into assigned territory with the goal of exceeding growth goals of the product category.
• Conduct cold calls to acquire new customers in assigned sales territory.
• Champions value proposition in assigned territory and brand in the local community.
• Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers.
• Creates and executes a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds stated revenue and profit targets.
• Meet regularly with customers in sales territory to understand their evolving needs.
• Educate customers on offer and purchase options (e.g., Seller direct, Phone, .com and through Distributors)
• Attend local and regional trade shows.
 
 QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent "on-the-job" experience.
  • Experience selling direct and via a distributor/distribution network
  • Understanding of basic selling techniques: open, probe, presentation, over-coming objections.
  • Ability to understand, apply and synthesize complex data/information regarding customers and product offering.
