As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving complex hardware programs from concept through production—ensuring technical rigor, schedule discipline, and cross-functional alignment every step of the way.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Own the full lifecycle of engineering and manufacturing programs, from initial concept through qualification and production release
- Define and manage program scope, schedules, milestones, and resource plans for new product introductions and major engineering changes
- Translate customer and contractual requirements into clear, actionable engineering deliverables
- Lead cross-functional teams across RF/microwave, mechanical, manufacturing, test, quality, and supply chain to align design intent with manufacturability
- Build and maintain integrated master schedules, actively managing critical paths and dependencies
- Identify technical and execution risks early, driving collaborative problem-solving and mitigation plans
- Coordinate prototype builds, qualification efforts, and smooth transitions to production
- Serve as the central point of communication for program status with leadership, customers, and suppliers
- Prepare executive-level reports and present technical, schedule, and risk updates
- Champion AS9100, space-grade, and defense-grade quality and documentation standards
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement across programs and processes
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of project or program management experience supporting hardware-based engineering programs
(RF, microwave, aerospace, defense, or SATCOM experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of the full hardware product development lifecycle
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering and operations teams
- Experience managing customer-facing technical programs, including requirements traceability and acceptance testing
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools, risk management methodologies, and technical documentation systems
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical detail for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated success delivering complex engineering programs on time and within budget
- Experience with WBS, work packages, or earned value management (SPI/CPI) is a plus
- Self-driven, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
