Director of Sales- Cases - ProAV- Music

OVERVIEW
We’re on the lookout for a motivated, high-energy, results-driven Director of Sales in the Pro AV/ Music case industry. You will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share across the U.S. This pivotal role will oversee a talented sales team, manage distributor partnerships, and drive engagement with manufacturers, touring professionals, and retail partners. DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Set clear goals, monitor performance, and hold team members accountable for results.
  • Provide frequent feedback and conduct regularly scheduled performance discussions.
  • Encourage open communication, share best practices, and maintain a positive, supportive work environment.
  • Oversee performance management, including reviews, career development plans, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to expand market share and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including OEM partnerships and custom case solutions.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to refine positioning and sales tactics.
  • Leverage data analytics and CRM tools to track performance, forecast trends, and inform strategic decisions
  • Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, industry leaders, touring professionals, and production companies.
  • Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and networking events to strengthen brand presence and uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with product development and engineering teams to align case designs with evolving market demands.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, sharing insights to influence product innovation and strategy.
  • Drive customer retention strategies to cultivate long-term partnerships and recurring revenue streams.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive sales and sales leadership experience with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the Pro AV or Music industry.
  • Understanding of musical instruments, recording gear, live production equipment, in the protective case requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with touring professionals, AV manufacturers, and production companies.
  • Familiarity with custom plastic manufacturing processes and technical product sales cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and market trends into actionable strategies.
  • Solid motivational leadership skills with a hunter mentality and demonstrated sales-closing expertise.
  • Ability to build executive-level relationships and deliver compelling board-level presentations.
  • Travel for tradeshows and customer visits.
WHAT WE OFFER
  • Base Salary: $120k-130k DOE
    Bonus: 20% PLUS additional incentives for exceeding goal
