What You’ll Do
  • Research, analyze and resolve payroll-related inquiries, problems and general inquiries and tasks as assigned by the Payroll Manager or HRIS Manager.
  • Assist in all aspects of payroll, audits and IT issues as they arise.
  • Interact with and occasionally oversee a payroll staff of 5 experienced, hourly, team members.
  • Ensure that all financial and budgetary issues go through proper chain of command.
  • Oversee the duties of the Payroll Manager and HRIS Manager during absences and peak work flow.
  • May need to research and field questions during Payroll Manager absences.
  • Ensure that all financial and budgetary issues go through proper chain of command.
  • Must have the ability to interface effectively with all levels of corporate management.
 What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of payroll experience.
  • Must have general knowledge of common payroll and general accounting practices.
  • Experience with processing "in-house" payroll operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Kronos Workforce Central timekeeping system.
  • Experience with report writing tools.
  • FCP or CPP accreditation preferred.

This role will perform a wide variety of routine record keeping and payroll processing activities, create and run a variety of reports to comply with upper management requests and internal or third-party audits.
